Vivian Marie Venghaus, 91, died Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington, Iowa.
She was born in Yarmouth, Iowa February 27, 1920 the daughter of George and Clara Dietsch Kuenzler. On June 19, 1954 she married Wilbert "Willie" Louis Venghaus in Kahoka, Missouri. He died May 23, 2006.
Vivian retired as an upholsterer at Chittenden & Eastman in Burlington. She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxillary, she enjoyed fishing and going to the casino, mushroom hunting and was a Chicago Cubs and Iowa Hawkeye fan.
She is survived by two sons, Stephen (Joann) Venghaus of Sterling, Illinois and Tom (Sue) Thye of Sierra Vista, Arizona. Two granddaughters and two grandsons. Four greatgrandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held in Prugh's Chapel Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Chaplain Dean Graber will officiate. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends in Prugh's Chapel on Tuesday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
A memorial has been established for Great River Hospice.
