Obituary
Lloyd Albert Blauer, 87, of 1015 S. 13th, died at 10:10 am Friday, June 8, at Burlington Care Center.
He was born Jan. 17, 1897, in Mt. Ayr, to Albert S. and Anna Doughty Blauer. He married Darlene M. Schoch Nov. 27, 1951, in Hardy , Ark.
He was a member of the Open Bible Church. He was a retired night watchman for the Lehigh-Leopold Furniture Company. He served in the Marine Corps in WWII. He was a member of the American Legion.
Surviving; His wife; three sons, David Ray, Gulfport, Ill., Lloyd J. Jr., Rapid City, S.D., and Larry Alan, at home; two daughters, Helen Blanchard, Creston, and Darlene Chapman, Creston; 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and several great-grandchildren; and two sisters, May Hiatt, Creston, and Belle Sweet, Creston.
Funeral services; 1:30 pm Tuesday, Prugh’s Chapel, the Rev. Mr. Keith Canfield officiating; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
