Obituary
Frances Evelyn Turner, 88, of Scottsdale, Ariz.,
formerly of Burlington, died Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014,
at Diamond Point Assisted Living in Scottsdale.
Born in 1926, she was the daughter of Dan and Grace
Krieghauser Kuntz. She married Francis Gantz. On
March 12, 1971, she married George E. Turner in
Fairfield. He died Nov. 19, 1986.
Mrs. Turner was a homemaker. She was a member of
Peace Lutheran Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Laura Halladay of
Scottsdale; one son, Bill Gantz of Phoenix; and three
grandchildren.
Besides her husbands, she was preceded in death by
one son and her parents.
The graveside funeral for Mrs. Turner will be at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Aspen Grove Cemetery in
Burlington, with the Rev. Kathleen Wohlers officiating.
Lunning Chapel in Burlington is in charge of arrangements.
