Rodney Mathias Blake, 74, of 3131 Sunnyside, died at 9:10 pm Tuesday, Jan. 11, at home.
Born Nov. 30, 1902, in Sterling, Ill., he was the son of George and Emma Clark. He married Adah Boese on April 13, 1935, in Kahoka, Mo. He was a retired agent for the Farmer’s Mutual Insurance Co., Farmer’s Casualty Co., and Western Mutual Co. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church and the Kiwanis Club of West Des Moines.

Funeral: 1:30 pm Friday, Prugh’s Chapel, Rev. AC Koengeter; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
