Obituary
Mr. George W. Blake, 80, of Kansas City, Mo., formerly of Burlington, died Saturday at Kansas City.
He was born Oct. 20, 1884. In Hibbard, Neb. He was married to Charlotte Rose at Mattoon, Ill.
For many years he owned and operated his own printing business at 18-2 Madison. He was a member of the Harrison Ave. Methodist church.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Edith Page, El Monte, Calif., Mrs. Mary Rowe, Kansas City, Mo.; five sons, Arthur, Kansas City, Robert and Richard, both of El Monte, Harold, and Walter, both of Houston, Tex.; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 11 am Tuesday from the Sheagren funeral home, the Rev. George Pennington officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
