Marge Marie Trumbo, 73, of West Burlington, died at 11:31 AM Thursday, February 12, 2015, at her home.
Born October 28, 1941, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Francis G. and Lucille C. Sullivan McCann. On March 28, 1980, she married Jerry Allen Trumbo in Burlington. He died January 23, 2015.
Marge worked for St. Francis Hospital, Ross's Manufacturing, OrdnancePlant, and Lehigh Leopold.
She was a 1960 graduate of Notre Dame High School.
Marge loved yard work, tending to plants, flowers, and also loved cardinals, finches, and angels. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, nieces, and nephews.
Survivors include two sisters, Rita (Tom) Johnson of Macomb and Donna (Roger) Moore of Blandinsville; four brothers, Ron (Ruth) McCann of Burlington, Paul (Rhonda) McCann of Temple, TX, Vince McCann of Burlington, Pat McCann of Macomb; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband she was preceded in death by one sister and three brothers.
Visitation will be from 12:00 PM until 5:00 PM with the family to receive friends from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM Sunday, February 15, 2015, at Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Mrs. Trumbo will be 10:00 AM Monday, February 16, 2015, at Thielen Funeral Home with Pastor Ed Wisener, Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
