Betty B. Tod, 82, of Burlington, died at noon Thursday, May 20, 2010, at her residence in Burlington. Born June 16, 1927, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Paul Warren and Bonnie Marie Davison Bonewitz. On January 2, 1979, she married John A. "Jack" Tod in Burlington. Mrs. Tod was a graduate of University of Iowa and member of Delta Gamma Sorority. She was an executive officer for Bonewitz Chemical Co. She served on many charitable organizations and on several boards, including Aspen Grove Cemetery, and was a member of Burlington Golf Club. She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church. She enjoyed golf, bridge, traveling, fishing in Minnesota at her summer home and her winters in Florida. Survivors include her husband; three sons, Don Rosenkoetter of Merritt Island, Fla., Eric Rosenkoetter of Austin, Texas, and Greg Rosenkoetter of Burlington; two daughters, Ann Tod Stuart of Denver, Colo., and Susan Tod Stahl of Greenwood Village, Colo.; 13 grandchildren and numerous cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother. Visitation with family will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Monday at Prugh's Chapel. The funeral for Mrs. Tod will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church in Burlington, with the Rev. Canon Patrick Genereux and the Very Rev. David G. Steinle officiating. Burial will follow in Aspen Grove Cemetery. Memorials have been established for Christ Episcopal Church and Great River Hospice House.
