Bonnie Marie Bonewitz, 93, of Burlington, died at 7:50 a.m. Saturday, May 9, 1998, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born Oct. 26, 1904, in Bolckow, Mo., she was the daughter of Walter Curtis and Amanda Lindsey Davidson. On Nov. 16, 1924, she married Paul Wassen Bonewitz in Savannah, Mo. He died Nov. 8, 1970.
Mrs. Bonewitz was on the board of directors of Bonewitz Chemical Co.
She was a member of Christ Episcopal Church and the Burlington Golf Club.
Survivors include one daughter Betty Tod of Burlington; six grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and special friend Christina Roth of Burlington.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents, two infant brothers, two brothers, one sister, and one son.
Visitation will be Monday afternoon until the time of service.
The funeral for Mrs. Bonewitz will be at 10:30 am Tuesday at Christ Episcopal Church, with the Rev. Patrick Genereux officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
