Mr. Steven M. Timmerman, 53, of Lomax, Illinois died Tuesday, August 5, 2014, at Country View Care Center in Macomb, Illinois.
Born September 27, 1960 in Burlington, he was the son of Charles A. and Marilyn Sue "Susie" (Lankford) Timmerman.
Mr. Timmerman was a journeyman iron worker. He loved the river, hunting, being outdoors and spending time with his mother; they were inseparable.
Survivors include his mother, Marilyn "Susie" Timmerman of Lomax; two brothers, Michael (Shawna) Timmerman and Charles D. (Robbie) Timmerman both of Burlington and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, one nephew, and paternal grandparents.
A celebration of Steve's life will be held at a later date. Inurnment will be with his father and his nephew in Aspen Grove Cemetery and will take place at a later date.
A memorial has been established for the family.
Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
