Mrs. Madeline Bjork, 75, formerly of 405 Spring, West Burlington, died at the Meline Nursing Home, Jacksonville, Ill., at 2:25 am Sunday, May 5.
She was born Oct. 3, 1898, in Burlington the daughter of C. Alex and Minnie Peterson Anderson. She married Algot E. Bjork June 4, 1924; he died Oct. 4, 1972. She was a member of Messiah Lutheran church, EC Blackmar Chapter OES, and the Svithoid Lodge.
Surviving: One son, C Kenneth Bjork, Midland, Mich.; one daughter Kathryn Wild, Jacksonville, Ill.; one brother, Herbert Anderson, West Burlington; one sister, Mrs. Violet Johnson, Glendale, Calif.; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral: 10:30 am Wednesday, Lunning chapel, Rev. Clyde Norrgard; Aspen Grove Cemetery.
