Obituary

Zachary Adam Tillotson, 23, of Bur-lington, died Saturday, November 10, 2007 at his home. Born Thursday, September 20, 1984, in Burlington, he was the son of Danny L. and Kylene K. Hartsock Tillotson. Zachary helped his father at Carpet Wizard and was beginning an electrical apprenticeship. He was a member of First Christian Church(Disciples of Christ). As a youth he was involved in the Cub Scouts/Boy Scouts. He enjoyed playing baseball, wrestling and he played the violin for eight years. He also enjoyed working on cars, fishing and especially spending time with family and friends. Survivors include his parents, one brother, Clayton Tillotson attending college in Madison, Wisconsin; two sisters, Claire Tillotson and Margaret Tillotson both at home; maternal grandparents, Dean "Red" and Marian Hartsock of Burlington; aunts and uncles, Jim and Marilyn Tillotson of Bettendorf, Kim and Mike Bush of Burlington and Kambra McAlister of Burlington; and several cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents and great-grandparents. Visitation will be from noon until 8:00 PM today at the Hass-Thielen Funeral Home with the family to receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The Funeral Service for Zachary will be at 1:30 PM, Tuesday, November 13, at First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) with Reverend Tom Smith officiating. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for his siblings' education.
