Mildred Lois Thulin, 94, of Tulsa, Ok., formerly of Burlington, died Tuesday Dec. 27, 2005 in Tulsa. Born July 4, 1911, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Arthur E. and Maude M. Long Thulin. Mrs. Thulin was a clerk for Des Moines County Abstract for 40 years. She grew up in Burlington and played on the high school tennis team. She was very active in her church, First United Church of Christ. Two years ago, Millie and her sister relocated to Tulsa, Ok., to be near their family. Survivors include one sister Janet E. Boese of Tulsa; one great nephwew; andone great-niece. She was preceded in deaty by her parent. Visitation will be from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Tuesday at Prugh's Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. The graveside service for Miss Thullin will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in Aspen Grove Cemetery, with the Rev. JudyAnn Morse officiating. A memorial has been established for First Untied Church of Christ.
