Caleb Daniel Peterson, 20, of Burlington, passed away at 1:30 AM Wednesday, September 11, 2019, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born April 26, 1999, in Burlington, he was the son of Michael Peterson and Betty Collins Peterson.
He worked for Aspen Grove Cemetery maintaining the cemetery.
Caleb enjoyed BMX bike riding, skate boarding, fishing, taking care of his fish tank, listening to music and drinking Busch Lattes. He loved traveling, especially to California, and spending time with his nieces, nephews and friends.
Survivors include his father, Michael Peterson, mother, Betty Collins-Peterson; grandfather, Claude Collins of La Harpe; one brother, Collin Peterson of Burlington, four sisters, Hannah Peterson and Hailey Peterson both of Burlington, Tasha Downing of Arizona and Annie Sweatt of Colorado; two nephews and one niece, Noah Nelson, Gabriella Connelly and Brylan Connelly; his beloved dog, Rocco, many cousins, aunts, uncles and many special friends.
Caleb was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ralph and Doris Peterson, maternal grandmother, Rose Collins, two uncles, Karl Thompson and Babe Peterson, and his best friend Clay Connelly.
Visitation will be from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM with the family to receive friends Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Caleb will be 6:00 PM Wednesday, September 18, 2019, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. Cremation will be entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory following the service.
