Kathy (Cornic) Bartoe, 67, of Burlington died Friday, August 3, 2018 at her home.
Born August 8, 1950 in Burlington, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Virginia (Grupy) Cornic. She married Robert "Bob" Glick. They later divorced.
Kathy graduated in 1968 from Burlington High School. She worked as a teacher's associate at Corse School for several years until 2015. She was previously also a building permit inspector for Collier County in Naples, Florida for many years. She was of the Methodist faith.
She loved anything and everything to do with Elvis Presley. She enjoyed watching Nancy Grace and crime shows. She loved the color pink, poodles and her cat "Lucy." She loved listening to 50's and 60's music and spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her three children; Jason (Lisa) Glick of Ft. Myers, Florida, Kandi Glick (Grant Hillyer) of Burlington, and Aaron (Roxie) Glick of Waco, Texas; her grandson and caregiver Jacob Glick, and grandchildren Joshua Glick, Brandon Glick, Kayli Glick and Caden Glick, and one brother Gary (Connie) Cornic of Omaha, Nebraska.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson Owen Robert and one brother Ronald Cornic.
The memorial funeral service for Kathy will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 8th at Lunning Chapel. The Rev. Steve Parker will officiate. Inurnment will follow at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
