Dale LeRoy Beik, 79, of Wapello died Saturday September 14, 2019 at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington. Funeral services will be 10:30 am on Thursday, September 19, 2019 (Dale and Judy’s 54th wedding anniversary) at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery in Burlington. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at the Dudgeon-McCulley Funeral Home. An Odd Fellows/Rebekah Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening. A memorial has been established for the Morning Sun Ambulance in memory of Dale. Dale LeRoy Beik was born on July 11, 1940 in Burlington, Iowa, the son of Gerald and Ethyl (Caldwell) Beik. On September 19, 1965, Dale was united in marriage to Judy Wells in Burlington. Dale was a farmer in the Wapello area and retired from J.I. Case Company after 25 years of service. He also worked at Lettica and S & J Tube of Wapello. Dale was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wapello, Odd Fellows, Rebekah Lodge, Silver Leaf Lodge #394 of Columbus Junction, Linn Encampment and Rainbow Canton. He enjoyed camping, yard work, traveling and was an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Dale will be deeply missed by his children, John (Theresa) Beik of Britt, Iowa and Amanda Beik of Morning Sun and sister, Doris Harris of Grinnell.
