Virginia Mary Gantz, 92, of West Burlington, died at 9:30 am Monday, December 17, 2018, at the Great River Klein Center in West Burlington.
Born April 9, 1926, in West Burlington, she was the daughter of William and Effie Brown Stephenson. On November 12, 1944, she married Emmett Gantz Jr in Burlington.
Virginia was a homemaker.
She graduated from West Burlington High School.
Virginia enjoyed reading and doing puzzles. She was a homebody and loved her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include son, Larry (Lynn) Gantz of Davenport, daughter, Sharon (Terry) Oge of Oshkosh, WI, Four grandchildren : Shalar (Ed) Knupp of Bettendorf, Dustin (Lisa) Gantz of Justin, TX, Jennifer (Rob) Konitzer of Menasha, WI, and Brittany Oge, five great-grandchildren: Spencer, Harrison, Erika, Harmony and Laurelai, sister, Janette Wunderlich of Burlington, brother, James Stephenson of NM.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Bobby, and sister, Barbara.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh~Thielen Crematory.
There will be no visitation or services at the time.
