Michael E. Romkey, 78, of Coralville, Iowa, died Saturday, November 20, 2021 at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics in Iowa City, Iowa.
Born February 13, 1943 in Iowa, he was the son of Donald and Peggy Romkey.
He served in the Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. He married Linda Joyce Genth on August 3, 1968.
Mike retired for J.I. Case after 35 years. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Iowa City, Iowa.
He is survived by his wife Linda Romkey of Iowa City , Iowa; daughter Rebecca (Rick) Caskey of Muscatine, Iowa; three grandchildren, Jonathan Caskey, Joshua Caskey and Jessica (Timothy) Cable and five great grandchildren; Tessa, Liam, Adrian, Elaina and Aollie.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Private graveside services were held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
