Sandra Jean Mutchler, 83, of Burlington died November 19, 2020 at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born July 14, 1937 in Burlington, Iowa she was the daughter of Esther (French) Turner. She married Charles Mutchler Jr. on April 14, 1956 in Monmouth, Illinois. He died September 7, 1975.
Sandra worked as a nurse’s aide at Great River Medical Center, at the Christian Book Store and sold Stanley, Avon and Tupperware independently.
She was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene.
Survivors include two sons; Darrell Lee Mutchler and Charles Joseph Mutchler; one daughter Brenda Sue Mutchler; nine grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Turner and James Turner; two sisters Lavonne Underwood and Kayleen Welsh, one half-brother, Terry Welsh and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one daughter Cheryl Renee Cantebury.
The funeral service for Mrs. Mutchler will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 24th at First Church of the Nazarene. Interment will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the time of service at church. Due to the recent pandemic masks and social distancing requirements will be enforced.
