Obituary
Dakota Pierre Turner, of Burlington, died Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at the Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
He was the son of Austin M. Turner and Mazie S Patterson.
Survivors include his parents Mazie and Austin, great-great-grandmothers Connie Patterson and Clydean Winters; great-grandfather Pierre Patterson; great grandmothers Sharon Klinger and LaVern Brown; grandmothers, Sophene Patterson and Charrie Turner; grandfathers, Jesse Ashford and Kendall Johnson; eight uncles, Rayshaun Bullock, Jesse Ashford, Jr., JeRon Ashford, DuRaie Patterson, JaKai Ashford, Martan Broeg, Kendall Johnson Jr and Andre Johnson; and four aunts, Jasmine Ashford, Sydney McCurn, Jada Ashford, and Brittany Seidel Robinson; and a multitude of extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his great-great-grandfather Harold Klinger; great-grandfather Jesse Ashford; great-aunt Rita Carter; one cousin, Dakota James Lancour of Seale AL; and mother's best friend Kedarie Pierre Johnson.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, January 31, 2019 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home.
The funeral service for Dakota will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home with Irma Isom officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established for Dakota's parents.
