Dennis L. Brown, formally from Burlington, passed away peacefully at his home in Naperville, Ill. on Dec. 24, 2022. He was 78.
He was born Jan. 11, 1944, and preceded in death by parents Elmer L. Brown and Alice (Griffith) Brown of Burlington; and is survived by brother Randall (Mary) niece Emily and nephew Collin, all of Minnesota, and long time partner Anita Blanford of Naperville.
A 1962 graduate of BHS, he was a National Honors Society recipient. He played varsity tennis for three years, and wrote a monthly column for the school paper, “Short Sports Buy Charlie Brown.” He not only was an excellent student but an outstanding thespian.
