Born in Bent Harbor, MI- relocated to Joplin, MO.
Attended school in Michigan.
Died in Joplin, MO.
Vonsuere was known as Phoebe.
She loved to be around her family and friends. Her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She was a jack of all trades with unique style, never forgetting a hat!
She leaves to cherish all great memories with four children; Augusta Daniels of Joplin, MO, Arlean Doss of Flint, MI, Tommie Thompson of Joplin, MO and Georgia Jones of Cape Girardeau, MO; fifteen grandchildren; one brother, Carlos Thompson; father, Thurman Watson of Cape Girardeau, MO; significant other, Tommie Lee “Mr. Tom” Theus; special cousins, Teresa Wilson, Monica Thompson and Bernard Wilson; niece DaReisha Thompson; nephews Carlos Thompson Jr. and Deonte Thompson.
Phoebe truly loved all her family! Along with all her friends that she made along her journey in life.
Phoebe was preceded in death by her mom Georgia Thompson who she honored and cherished deeply.
The Homegoing Celebration for Vonsuere will be held at 12:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2022 at Lunning Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will be held at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
