John "JT" Edward Timmerman, 57, of Burlington, died at 9:45 PM Sunday, March 20, 2022, at the Southeast Iowa Regional Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born April 14, 1964, in Burlington, he was the son of James Edward and Gail M. Smith Timmerman.
John was an electrician and worked for a union, traveling a lot and working primarily down south.
John loved building things, working on projects and remodeling houses and apartments. He was always busy working odd jobs and was a self proclaimed "rock hound". He liked to collect and polish rocks and was a knowledgeable history buff.
Survivors include his mother, Gail M. Braun of Burlington; daughter, Jamie Timmerman of Zimmerman, MN; son, Caleb Timmerman of Zimmerman, Minnesota; two brothers, Patrick Timmerman and David Braun both of Burlington; and one nephew, Alex James Timmerman of Yazoo, MS.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
