Dr. Peterson was born on March 18, 1928 and passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2016. Dr. Peterson was a resident of Burlington, Iowa at the time of his passing. He was a 1946 graduate of Burlington High School a 1950 graduate of the University. Dr. Peterson was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict and served from 1954 until 1955 at the rank of Captain. He was married to Roberta. The memorial funeral service for Dr. Peterson will be 11 a.m. Thursday April 14th at Lunning Chapel with Pastor Bruce Goettche officiating. Private inurnment will be at a later date. The family requests memorials to Union Church of LaHarpe Salvation Army or Hope Haven.
