Jessica Lynn Severs, 39, of Burlington, died at 2:50 PM Sunday, November 7, 2021, at her home.
Born September 21, 1982, in Iowa City, IA, she was the daughter of Charles Severs and Romonna Crabtree.
She was a 2001 graduate of Burlington High School.
She was an extraordinarily loving and caring person. She enjoyed taking pictures with family, and making collages. One of her favorite things to do was sit with her mother and play a few rounds of marbles as Romie was coming home from work and Jessica was headed out. She was a faithful Christian who loved Jesus. She enjoyed watching her shows, and have a good night in binging Netflix. Most of all, she loved her daughter with her whole heart and soul. She had a passion for music that was a strong bond between Merissa and her.
Survivors include her mother; Romonna "Romie" Crabtree, her father, Charles Wayne Severs of Hannibal, MO, one daughter; Merissa Severs of Burlington, two brothers, Donny Severs of Jordan MN, and Chuck (Jadee) Severs of Burlington, step-father, Michael Knotts of Burlington, step-brother, Tony (Brandi) Knotts of Burlington, and many extended family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and two first cousins.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory.
Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM Saturday, November 13, 2021 at Prugh~Thielen Funeral Home. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established for her daughter Merissa's education.
