Carolyn A. Russell
(1929-2020) Carolyn A. Russell, 91 of Burlington, IA died Sunday, December 13, 2020 at the Oakview Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Burlington, IA.
She was born November 15, 1929 in Burlington, IA the daughter of Leon and Laura Hersom Noelke.
She graduated with her Bachelor's degree in education.
On December 26, 1951 Carolyn was united in marriage to Ned Russell in Burlington, IA. He preceded her in death on August 30, 2020.
Carolyn had been employed as a teacher for the public schools for many years.
She is survived by two sons, Craig Russell of Norman, OK and Tod Russell of Allen, TX, one daughter, Laura McGovern of Chicago, IL and nine grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was also preceded in death by one son, Scott Russell.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
