Linda McCannon Watson, 66, of Lombard, Illinois formerly of Burlington died Monday, September 14, 2020.
Born July 3, 1954 in Fort Leonardwood, Missouri she was the daughter of William “Bill” and Arlene (Peterson) McCannon. She married Steve Watson on November 5, 1977 in Burlington.
Linda was an accountant and of the Lutheran faith.
She loved music and musicals and was a theatre nut. She was a member of the Drury Lane Theatrical Company and was an AVID Chicago Cubs fan, never missing a game.
She is survived by her husband Steve Watson of Lombard, Illinois; two sons, Mike Watson of Bartlett, Illinois and Jon Watson of Plainfield, Illinois; two grandchildren, Kylie and Colton; her mother Arlene McCannon of Burlington; two brothers, Michael (Lisa) McCannon of Payson, Arizona and David (Cyndee) McCannon of Oquawka, Illinois; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
The graveside funeral service and inurnment for Linda will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 14th at Aspen Grove Cemetery.
