Obituary

Willie St. Matthew Scott Jr., 72 of Burlington, formerly of West Burlington, died at 11:58 p.m. Thursday, December 10, 2020 at his residence.
Born November 13, 1948 in Burlington, he was the son of Willie St. Matthew Sr. and Rosalie (Reading) Scott. He married Sandra Leona Mollock on May 2, 1991 in Kahoka, MO.
He graduated from West Burlington High School and Burlington Junior College. He served in the United States Army.
Willie was of the Presbyterian faith. The 23rd Psalm was his favorite verse.
He worked as an over the road truck driver and farmer for many years.
He enjoyed detailing cars and loved his dogs.
Survivors include his wife of 29 years, Sandra of Burlington; two sons, Jason St. Matthew Scott of Los Angeles, CA and Chuckie McCullen of Keokuk, IA; five step-children, Bennie Franklin Percell Jr. of Camelsville, KY, Teresa Ann Percell of Elizabethtown, KY, Tina Louise Percell of Florida, Mark Anthony Percell of Huntsville, AL, and J.J. Percell of Fairfield, IA; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
There will be no services.
Cremation has been entrusted to Lunning Chapel.
A memorial has been established for Kayla’s Cupboard.
