Roberta “Robbie” L. Timmerman, 60, of Burlington, died Monday, June 7, 2021 at Great River Medical Center, West Burlington.
Born December 19, 1960 in Burlington, Iowa she was the daughter of Robert “Bob” and Norma Jean (Malcom) Perron. She married Charles “Chuck” Timmerman on August 4, 1979 in Burlington.
Robbie was a homemaker and had served as cook at Oak Street School for many years.
She was a ROC STAR! She loved life! Loved every minute of her time spent with her kids and her grandkids. Her yorkies, Asa, Riley, Moose, and Babe were her everything. She had the biggest heart and was known to be the “neighborhood mom” when her children were little. Robbie was known to be quite the prankster and for her weird but sentimental gifts.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Charles “Chuck” Timmerman of Burlington; her children Jeremy (Virginia) Timmerman of Wellman, Iowa and Cassidy Timmerman (Brandon Haynes) of Burlington; four grandchildren, Jesse, Jakob, Jadon and Jaxsen; three sisters, Loretta McDaniels (Marc Olson), Rae Nebergall and Kim Peterson all of Burlington; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved son Charles “C. J.” Timmerman.
A Celebration of Life will be held 3:00-5:00 p.m. Saturday, June 26th at Wake n Bake. Cremation has been accorded and entrusted to the care of Lunning Chapel.
