Patricia Ann Weld, 76, of Burlington, passed away June 16, 2023 with her loving family by her side at the Granite VNA Hospice House in Concord, NH after a courageous battle with stage four cancer.
Pat was born on December 9, 1946, to John E. and Wanda I. (King) Weld in Burlington, Iowa. She graduated from Burlington High School and attended Blackhawk Community College and graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s degree.
Pat began her career in advertising in Denver and Dallas, then worked as a paralegal in Chicago and her favorite city of Boston. Upon retirement she returned to Burlington to care for her aging mother.
Pat was an avid reader and loved to play tennis, bake and most importantly spend time with her high school friends and her family.
Pat is survived by her brother James (Sandy) Weld of Franklin, NH, niece Jessica (Eric) Cole of Boscawen, NH, nephew Brandon Weld of Loudon, NH, great-nieces Emily and Haley Weld of Concord, NH, and great-nephews Brady and Logan Cole of Boscawen, NH.
The Graveside Committal Service for Ms. Weld will be 2:00 PM Friday, June 30, 2023, at Aspen Grove Cemetery with Reverend Tamara Wirt officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held at Grace United Methodist following the burial.
