Obituary
Patricia “Pat” Alliene Connelly, 80, of Davenport, IA, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 after a battle with Lewy Body Dementia.
Per her wishes she will be cremated, with a visitation being held on Friday, February 18, from 5-7 p.m. at the Runge Mortuary. Memorials in her honor may be made to the family and will be dispersed over several charities.
Pat was born the daughter of Paul and Alliene (Dyer) Thrasher on March 16, 1941, in Davenport, IA. She retired from Midstates Express after many years of service.
Pat was a member of the Traffic Club. She also enjoyed playing Bingo, going to casino’s, bowling on various leagues, and watching old westerns. Since retiring, she never missed an episode of Days of Our Lives. Pat loved to read Harlequin romance novels and Nora Roberts novels. She was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and St. Louis Cardinals. More than anything, she cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Those left honoring her memory include children: Michael K. (Theresa) Thrasher of Burlington, IA, Celeste D. Connelly Pratt (Clyde Donaldson) of Davenport, IA, Kandice K. (Tom) Connelly Crane Dowell of Davenport, IA, and Luann Wheeler of Newton, IA; grandchildren: Amy Thrasher, Michelle Thrasher, Teri (Rob) Downing, Kristen Pratt, Adam Kappus, Brittany Crane, Brooke (Levi) Vincent-Freund, Jessie (Charles) Shepard, and Joshua Runnels; 16 great grandchildren; siblings, Sandra J. Albright, Paula A. (Robert) Ryan, and Sharon K. Thrasher Spotts; brother-in-law, Michael Connelly; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; step-father, Howard Sisco; grandson, Joshua Thrasher; brother-in-law, Vallin Albright; brothers and sister-in-laws, Dennis and Sondra Connelly, and Patrick and Kay Connelly.
