Wonda Faye (Halley) Schroeder of Burlington, born December 26, 1936.
Faye would like to let you know that her work here is now done. As of Friday, February 21, 2020, at the young age of 83, she received her “text message” from up above. This was an offer that she just could not refuse, and for an appointment from which she will not be returning. LOL.
No doubt her calling comes with 110% “job security”
This assignment comes with a huge sign-on bonus, a reunion with Family and Friends that she has not seen in a long time, most importantly, reuniting with her Husband Jerry “Gene”, her son Bill and her daughter Valerie.
Her new mission takes her to a Wonderful place where there is socializing, drinking, and dancing to her hearts content.
Music, Laughter, and Love are All guaranteed.
The food is always delicious and you will never gain an ounce!...This includes Faye’s Peanut Butter Fudge, Chocolate Chip Cookies and her notorious GIANT crescent rolls.
Faye left detailed instructions for her Daughters to celebrate her completed missions on this earth…which they are well aware that not adhering to her instructions, would not be tolerated.
In additions to her daughters helping to celebrate and to continue to carry out Faye’s missions, she has most certainly left subtle clues to each of her remaining, loving family members, which includes:
Children – Marschinda and (Dan) Gulick, Kathy and (Joe) Vernon, Carolyn and (Kevin) Woodhurst, Son-in-law Mark McIntyre and “Mama’s Favorite” – Kim Parker.
Grandchildren – Ben and (Dawn) Gulick, Bri and (Jaime) Decker, Tonya Blasor, Tyler Billings and (Dustin Sides), Justin and (Sarah) Billings, Kyle and (Tracey) Billings, Bill Schroeder, Clinton and (Paige) McIntyre and Carlee and (Tyler) Potts.
Great Grandchildren – Josh, Owen Gulick, Reese, Lane Decker, Kyli Curry, Greyson, Noah, Caden Billings, Aiden Billings, Avery Billings, Leigha Schroeder, Charlotte McIntyre, Grayson, Parker May, Savanna, Taryn, Isaiah, Bronson Potts.
Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27th at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral service for Faye will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 28th at Lunning Chapel, 2620 Mt. Pleasant Street, Burlington, Iowa 52601. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
