William A. Hiltz, 57, Burlington, veteran of World war I, died at 3:25 p.m. Thursday in the veterans hospital at Knoxville, where he had been a patient 24 years. He was born July 14, 1894, in Burlington, the son of William and Lena Warner Hiltz. Hiltz was a member of the Lutheran faith. Surviving are on daughter, Mrs. Janice Lee Goodrick, St. Louis; his mother, MRs. Lena Hiltz, and a sister, Mrs. Viola Shannon, both of Burlington. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in Prugh's Chapel with Rev. G.A. Saathoff officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove cemetery.
