Thomas David Babb, 68, of 302 Second Street, Coralville, IA, died Saturday at Mercy Hospital after a short illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 am Tuesday at the George Gay Funeral Home with the Rev. Donald Brad officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery, Burlington.
Mr. Babb was born July 28, 1899, in Gladstone IL the son of Thomas and Daisey Jacoby Babb. He married Bertha Ann Vanlandingham in Burlington in 1916. They moved to Coralville in 1956 where they operated Babb's Restaurant.
Mr. Babb was a member of the Moose and Eagles lodges, the American Veteran's Association, and the Coralville American Legion.
He is survived by a brother, Armand Jack Babb of Burlington. His wife, a daughter, and a sister preceded him in death.
