Susan Briles, died at Soldiers' Home at Marshalltown, Iowa, May 3, 1919 age 79 years, 6 months, 19 days. She had lived in Burlington for many years, her husband, Benjamin Wade Brilles, a veteran of the civil war died in September, 1904 in Davenport, Ia. She is survived by one son, Arthur Briles and two grand-children. Funeral will be held from Unterkircher's chapel, Wednesday, May 7, at 2:30 p.m. Services by Dr. Cardle and members of W.R.C. No 62 and Ladies's of G.A.R. Interment Aspen Grove Friends invited.
