Sharon Kay Brandenburg, 51, of the Washington Heights Care Center in West Burlington, died at 11:40 pm Wednesday, Feb. 26, 1992, at Burlington Medical Center.
Born July 16, 1940, in rural Burlington, she was the daughter of Melvin C. and Hazel M. Poggemiller Brandenburg.
She had been a resident of the Washington Heights Care Center for 23 years and had worked at Hope Haven for 23 years.
Survivors include her mother, Hazel Hand of Burlington; one brother, Ronald Brandenburg of Burlington, and one sister, Marjorie Setterberg of Ames.
Friends may call after noon Sunday with the family receiving friends from 7 to 8:30 pm at Lunning Chapel.
The funeral for Miss Brandenburg will be at 10:30 am Monday at Lunning Chapel with the Rev. Gerald K Olson officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
