Merle W. Bradfield, 64, 3113 Valley St., died at 10 am on Sunday, Dec. 1, 1991, at his residence.
Born May 14, 1927, in Burlington, he was the son of John S. and Anna Elizabeth Mellinger Bradfield. He married Bettie Delores Bock Dec. 10, 1946, in Almeda, Calif. She Died Sept. 22, 1991.
He was an electrical worker for 21 years and later was an ironworker. He was a WWII Navy veteran and was a member of Electrical Workers Local, Iron Workers Local, and the VFW. He was of the Methodist faith.
Survivors include one daughter, Linda Hanson, Burlington; his mother of Burlington; and three grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 Wednesday at Prugh’s.
The funeral for Mr. Bradfield will be at 1:30 pm Thursday at Prugh’s Chapel with the Rev. Wesley Lawrence officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
