Funeral for Air Force Senior Master Sgt. Merle Boyd, 46. a former resident of Burlington who died Sunday, July 31, in Dayton. Ohio, will be 10:30 a.m.

The son of Andrew and Alma Wilson Boyd, he was born June 4, 19.31, at New London. He was a veteran of the Korean conflict and the Vietnam war,
He married Patricia Bartlett Sept. 21, 1951, in Burlington, where he was member of St. Paul church.
Surviving: The wife, Oscoda, Mich.; daughter, Christina DiolDati, Pembrook, Mass.; two sons, John and Mark, at home; his mother, Alma Wilson Archer, New London; three sisters, Marceline Linder Davey and Verlee Parker, both of New London, and Juanita Boyle, Burlington; and two
grandchildren.
