Marlane Walter Miller, 80, of Burlington, died at 7:50 p.m. Monday, July 15, 2002, at Burlington Care Center.
Born August 2, 1921, in Kingston, he was the son of Walter Harrison and Elmyra Pearl Kneedy Miller. He married Lela Maxine Walker on July 30, 1949, in Oakville. She died October 15, 1977.
Mr. Miller was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II. He was an electronic tech and engineer. He worked at Ross Manufacturing and Engineering and was plant manager at Triad-Utrad.
He was of the Protestant faith and a lifetime member of Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing pool.
Survivors include two sons, Craig M. Miller of Huntington, Indiana, and Richard A. Miller of Folsom, California; four grandchildren; one brother, Arthur Miller of Burlington; one sister, Maxine Louck of Burlington; and many nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday in Prugh's Chapel.
The funeral for Mr. Miller will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the chapel, with the Reverend Tim Walker officiating. Burial will be in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
