Madelyn B. Thompson, 88, 418 Melville St., West Burlington, died at 5:55 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1992, at the St. Francis Continuation Care Center. Born Sept. 17. 1904, in West Burlington she was the daughter of Fred l. and Matilda Luth Muzzy. She married Glen H. Thompson in 1925 in Burlington. She was a homemaker, a Methodist and a member of the Iowa Study Club, PEO, several bridge clubs, and Gray Ladies. Survivors include her husband; one son, Glen M. Thompson of West Burlington; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Her body has been cremated. There will be no service.
