LaVon Darlene Darnell, 85, of Bloomington, Illinois, formerly of Burlington died Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at the Bloomington Rehabilitation Center in Bloomington, Illinois. Born July 8, 1933 in Van Buren County, Iowa, she was the daughter of Robert and Vernie (Boekhoff) Miller. She married James Darnell on September 17, 1950 in Bloomfield, Iowa. He died September 7, 1973. Mrs. Darnell worked for many years as a jewelry clerk for Sherman's Jewelry. Survivors include one son Robert Darnell of Lyndon Station, Wisconsin, two granddaughters, two grandsons and six great grandchildren . She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one son Tim Darnell and two sisters.
