Kathryne E. Barnes, 89, of 600 S. Garfield Ave., died at 9:10 am Thursday, April 15, 1993, at the St. Francis Continuation Care Center.
Born Dec. 10, 1903, at Buda, Ill., she was the daughter of William F. and Missie Craig Countryman. She married Kenneth G. “Red” Barnes Dec. 21, 1969, at Las Vegas, Nev. He died Aug. 7, 1990.
She was a homemaker and a Baptist.
Survivors include one daughter, Wanda Sargent of Burlington; two sons, Bill Westerbelt of Burlington, and Raymond Westerbelt of Cordova, Ill.; five grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Friends may call this afternoon and evening at Prugh’s Chapel.
A private graveside committal service for Mrs. Barnes will be 10 am Saturday at the Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Richard Shaw officiating.
