James Riherd, 75, of Media, Ill., died at 12:25 a.m. Thursday at Mercy hospital after being ill for a month. He was born Oct. 17 1874 in Lancaster, Mo., and was a member of the Methodist faith. Surviving are 2 daughters, Mrs. Alpha Smith and Mrs. Selma Davis, both of Altal a son, James Riherd, Burlington; 8 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The body is at Giles funeral home. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
