James Nathan Edwards, 83, of 103 South Sixth St., died at 11;50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, 1991, at Burlington Medical Center. Born Sept. 12, 1908, in Burlington, he was the son of Nathan H. and Dolly E. Pickering Edwards. He was a special order technician at Leopold Desk Company for 26 years until his retirement in 1980. Survivors include one niece, Mrs. Hazel Johnson, Burlington; and one nephew, Jerry Downer, Carman, Ill. The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Prugh's Funeral Home. The graveside committal service for Mr. Edwards will be at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Aspen Grove Cemetery with the Rev. Milton Geisler officiating.
