Obituary
James “Frank” Elliott, 45, of Burlington, formerly of Lone Tree, died at 12:45 p.m. Tuesday, August 26, 2003, at Great River Medical Center in West Burlington.
Born July 1, 1958, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, he was the son of Jesse Edward and Mattie May Bowling Elliott. He was married to Kathy Rettig.
Mr. Elliott was a farm laborer and also worked in construction. He attended Lone Tree High School and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include:
One son, Kyle Lee Elliott of Lamoni
One daughter, Jessica Renee Elliott of Lamoni
One stepson, Sean Allen Rettig of Burlington
One sister, Bessie B. Peel of Kirkwood, Illinois
Two nephews and four nieces
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation was held from 1 p.m. until the time of service Tuesday at Lunning Chapel. Funeral services for Mr. Elliott were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Lunning Chapel, with Chaplain Randy Gearhart officiating. Burial was in Aspen Grove Cemetery.
A memorial has been established for Fabry’s Disease.
