Obituary
Jack T. Enburg, 60, Danville, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14, at his home. Born Sept. 6, 1917, in Burlington, he was the son of Franz and Esther Wickman Enburg. He married Janet Frudeger Dec. 20, 1940 in St. Louis, Mo. He graduated from the University of Iowa and taught there in the college of Engineering before retiring. He was a member of Danville United Methodist church and Pi Tau Sigma, honorary mechanical engineering fraternity. Surviving: The wife; two brothers, Clifford Enburg, Burlington, and Chester, Spokane, Washington; three sisters, Mrs. Viola Higgins, Danville, Mrs. Virginia Oleson, Fruitland, Idaho, and Mrs. Mary Anne Essig, St. Charles, Il. Funeral: 10 a.m. Thursday, Danville United Methodist church, Rev. Melvin Reth, Aspen Grove Cemetery. A memorial to the church has been established. The body is at Elliott Chapel, New London.
