Hubert S. (Hugh) Flockman, 63, of 900 Harrison, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 4, at Burlington Medical Center. He was born Aug. 20, 1915, at St. Louis, the son of Arthur Clem and Mabel Shay Flockman. He married Verna Astleford Harvey May 26, 1972, at Burlington. For 35 years he was a representative of Newton Manufacturing Co. He was a member of Bethany Lutheran church. Surviving: The wife; daughter, Mrs.Shirley Miller, Kansas City, Mo., three grandchildren, and a brother, Norman Flockman, Fair Oaks, Calif. Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Lunning Chapel, Rev. Robert Buhr; Aspen Grove cemetery.
