Obituary
Howard Bokenkamp, about 50, a former resident of Burlington, died Saturday in Maywood, Ill., after a long illness. He had been confined to bed for the last 6 months, and his condition had been regarded as critical for 2 weeks.
Until illness made it necessary for him to discontinue work, he was in the clothing business in Maywood.
Surviving are his widow, the former Ethel Miller, of Mt. Pleasant; his mother, Mrs. Ida Bokenkamp, of Burlington, and a sister, Mrs. George B. Crow, of Burlington. Mrs. Crow left early Saturday morning for Maywood.
A prayer service will be held in Chicago Monday morning, The body will be brought to Prugh’s chapel in Burlington and services will be held here Wednesday at 2 pm.
