Herman C. Fausel, 1314 N. Seventh street, life resident of Burlington, died at his residence at 11:20 last night, following a week's illness. He died six days before his 81st birthday. He was born here Jan. 25, 1860. Mr. Fausel was a member of Bethany Lutheran church, Moose lodge and Hawkeye Natives society. He is survived by a son, Arthur Fausel of Burlington; three sisters, Mrs. Henry Chubb of Burlington and Mrs. Louisa Bode and Mrs. Metta Brockman, both of Louisville, Ky.; by three grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Rites will be held at the Unterkircher funeral home at a time to be decided later, conducted by Dr. R.R.Belter, pastor of Bethany church. Interment will be is Aspen Grove cemetery.
