George Workman Andrew, 51, life resident of Burlington, died at the home of his mother, 915 N. 3rd street, early Tuesday. He had been in failing health since last August. He was born in Burlington July 30, 1893, the son of George and Elizabeth Andrew. He was employed as a painter and paperhanger, and was a veteran of the first world war, and a member of the VFW.
Surviving are 4 children, Mrs. Otis Smith and Mrs. George Bloom of Dodge City, Kan.; Lowell Andrew, overseas with the U.S. army and George Andrew, Jr., at home; one granddaughter; his mother; and one sister, Mrs. Wilson Murray of Burlington; and several nieces and nephews.
The body is at Prugh's chapel. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.
