Rev. Frederick Fausel, for many years pastor of the First German Evangelical church, died shortly before noon today.He was born in Esslinger, Germany, July 23, 1827 and had lived in Burlington for thirty three years. He leaves a wife and three children, a son and two daughters, all grown. Rev. Fausel was an excellent man and an earnest and faithful pastor and greatly beloved by all who knew him. Always kind and gentle, ever solicitous for those in his charge, for years he has cheered the sick and comforted those who mourned. He has been in feeble health for som years and he fully earned the perfect rest which death brought him.
